New Trade Violation Reporting System at Customs

U.S. Customs and Border Protection's Office of International Trade has developed a new online trade violation reporting system called eAllegations to facilitate online reporting of suspected Customs violations. Visit the Customs news release webpage CBP Develops New Online Trade Violation Reporting System to learn more about the program. Members of the public submitting information about suspected violations online can choose to remain anonymous. Examples of suspected reportable eAllegation violations include misclassification of merchandise, false country of origin markings, health and safety issues, valuation issues, and intellectual property rights. Note that if you have an issue to report to CBP which poses an immediate threat to public health and/or safety, you should also report that to CBP's 1-800-BE-ALERT.
